Brendan Tully Walsh is co founder of marketing agency, Brendan & Brendan. He’s a marketing communications consultant with a decade and a half of experience as a national broadcast journalist, writer, public speaker and mar com strategist. With an Edward R. Murrow award and two AP awards for regional political and business coverage, Brendan has a keen editorial sense that has served his clients in all areas of marketing, communications and PR. Brendan's work consulting for some of the world's largest ISPs garnered him an Interactive Marketing Award and two League Communications Professionals Awards.

Craig Silverman is an entrepreneurial journalist and director of content for Spundge, a content curation and creation platform used by newsrooms, brands and agencies. He is founder and editor of Regret the Error, which is now part of the Poynter Institute, where he serves as adjunct faculty. His books are “Regret The Error: How Media Mistakes Pollute the Press and Imperil Free Speech” and “Mafiaboy: A Portrait of the Hacker as a Young Man”. Craig's writing has been recognized by the U.S. National Press Club, National Magazine Awards, Canadian Online Publishing Awards, Crime Writers of Canada and the Mirror Awards.

Julien Smith is the CEO of Breather, an on-demand space company, as well as the New York Times bestselling author of three books. Two of these, Trust Agents and The Impact Equation, were written with Chris Brogan. The third, The Flinch, has consistently remained one of the top read Kindle books since it was published in 2011.

Micheline Bourque, a Montreal-based freelance marketing professional, social media enthusiast and evangelist, principal at Marketing sur mesure. Micheline has a rich and varied education and professional background that includes extensive international travel. In addition to providing marketing services, she is a seasoned coach, group facilitator and public speaker. Top companies in Quebec like Hydro Quebec and Desjardins have called on Micheline for her expertise. She also has a special interest and in helping small businesses realize their potential.

Mila Araujo Director of Personal Insurance at Ogilvy & Ogilvy Inc. has a diverse background in management, public relations, non-profit, and events. She has organized international conferences on health care as well as programs to promote health for seniors and children in partnership with the Government of Canada. In 2009, she collaborated with Modica Communications on the development of the Centre for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility, part of the Canadian government’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.

The event will be held in the heart of downtown Montreal on the campus of McGill University: La Citadelle - 410 Sherbrooke West Montreal, Quebec H3A 1B3. This event is proudly supported by McGill Writing Center.

The event is hosted by the McGill Writing Centre, a specialized department at McGill University that addresses the particular needs of today's professional writers.
